Overview:

Grant is an experienced integrity professional with a demonstrated 18-year track record in achieving efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.

Grant leads Equity Software operations and is responsible for software products, user experience, software quality (quality assurance and software help desk), and business operations. Additionally, he manages the Equity Software product roadmap and functions as the product owner of PlantManager, the cloud-native integrated asset integrity platform.  Grant has extensive experience in project management and, paired with a commitment to user experience and quality, he helps to drive new product development.

Grant has managed multiple long-term mechanical integrity (MI) and inspection projects, including building comprehensive MI programs from the ground up.  As an API-certified inspector, he has concentrated on refining the generation of inspection test plans and the production of accurate and effective inspection reports.  His mechanical integrity responsibilities have also included turnaround planning, risk-based inspection projects, and pressure relief device testing administration and design reconciliation.  Grant also has experience with field drafting, CAD, NDT/NDE, and CML placement.

Grant has extensive experience with Inspection Data Management Systems (IDMS) and Asset Integrity Management Systems (AIMS).  As an expert user of many of the industry-leading AIMS products, he has conducted training courses and has onboarded and configured systems at a number of organizations across the refining, petrochemical, and chemical industries.  Mr. Howard specializes in inspection data implementation and is skilled in data migration and data wrangling.  He has developed custom inspection data processing practices to ensure the sustainability of accurate and efficient transfer of field data. Grant has executed master data consolidation projects, ensuring a single source of truth for asset integrity data, and has experience creating Master Data Governance documents and processes. 

Grant also has extensive experience in category and product management, where he honed skills in go-to-market strategy, product assortment, supply chain, negotiation, demographics, and market analysis.
